This beginner course is for school nurses who want to learn Spanish at a basic level to better help students, families, and staff. Students will practice the four language skills listening, speaking, reading, and writing with a focus on speaking for everyday communication. Using practical vocabulary, real school situations, and role-play, participants will learn to greet, ask questions, give simple health instructions, collect important information, and provide support in Spanish. By the end, nurses will be able to communicate clearly and kindly with Spanish-speaking students and families, building trust and ensuring quality care at school.
